The Bottom Line: How do I contest bank overdraft charges?
While banks make $25 to $40 on every payment they run through your account after it's over drawn, you're left holding the bag -- at a time when you didn't have enough money to begin with. I have a huge . . . more

Describe Yourself:I am a journalist who has spent most of her life getting paid to write about what interests her, and that is a lovely thing. I am good-natured, relatively non-judgmental, and a friend to all. I've never understood cliques, from the standpoint that there's no way I'd limit myself to that.

Mary S., Dec 23, 2009, 9:47PM ESTI got a tea camillia at Dennis Seven Dees. The blossums are small and small really good. This was a while ago. I don't know if they still have them, but good to know they can grow here.

Digital Diva S., Nov 24, 2009, 9:06AM ESTSince that ship was one of the most historic, if you know the name of the relative you can find it easily. There are websites that list not only passengers but also crew. My gg -father became famous because of that trip and what followed so I've known all my life who he was. But not what kind of man he was.
The real eyeopener is research. Last spring I came across a booked called Mayflower by Nathaniel Phillip. The book itself is about that area but 50 years later. It gives enough background about the landing and first settlement that for the first time in my life I was not proud of the actions of my gg-father.
The book itself was a wonderful read and all based on historical documents. -
